North of Taiwan Trip

This tour to North of Taiwan was sponsored by the Yuan Ze University for all its international students. At first we visited Yehliu, a small beautiful peninsula. The sandstone rocks around Yehliu offers a fascinating scenery with holes, hills and shaped rocks with a special form. On of the famous rocks looks like the head of the Queen. Ocean World is located next to Yehliu and performs a great dolphin show. After lunch we went to the Juming Museum where you can find all the creative works by Ju Ming. You can see many sculptures made from stone and wood and also beautiful paintings. On the hills surrounding the museum you can see traditional Taiwanese cemeteries. At the evening on the return journey to YZU we stopped at Tamsui, a romantic place, especially at night, with a bridge only for pedestrians. At the end of it you can find many restaurants and shops and bands playing music. Tamsui offers also a great night market with delicious spicy food.
